Ripfumelo Shikwambana is the founder and the creative designer of R.Shikz, which was registered in 2013  "I started this brand with the aim of embracing our culture in a modern, yet sophisticated way." He is meticulous in his designs and also believes in being creative. 

Not only is he a qualified designer but is also an award winning designer. In 2019 he won a provincial award at the GEW (Global Entrepreneur workshop), in 2021 he was declared the first best designer by the SATMA (South African Music Awards) fashion culture, making him a national award winner. In 2022, SITA (Salon International Textile Africa) 8th edition, awarded him as the best fashion designer in Africa against all the African countries, making him a continental award winner and the first South African to win the award. He now has clients in every province in the country with potential clients outside the country. 

Over the past years he has gained a great deal of clientele with some high personal as his clients.
